Who Is Aura The Guillotine Anyway?

Aura and her cheeky underlings, who poses as peace envoys although they only want war not love, made their first appearance in the 7th episode. They are of the demon race and are supposed to be Frieren’s next big opponent. Aura, however, is the most powerful of them all. After all, she is one of the Seven Sages of Destruction.

The Seven Sages of Destruction are the highest ranking members of the demon king’s army. They possess a great power of magic even among the demons. Aura herself has reigned on her throne for almost half a millennia. However, she did go into hiding after the defeat of the demon king. She returned shortly after Himmel’s death and has been harassing Graf Granat’s city ever since, causing the death of Graf Granat’s son.

Aura the Guillotine is the gateway for fans to the Seven Sages of Destruction. So far, only four of them have made appearances in the manga. Any fan who falls in love with this anime must especially watch out for one of them, Macht of El Dorado. He is one of few who actually managed to defeat Frieren in the past. Let’s see when he will make his first appearance in the anime.
